As parents, protecting our children immediately becomes our the primary task. It would be this writer’s opinion that we consider the protection of our children emotionally, physically, and spiritually. This is no easy task and will require a dedicated effort to accomplish it. One child psychologist friend of mine said that if, as a parent, we are not exhausted nearly all the time, we are probably not doing our job right. I understand that sentiment and agree with it. We need to be involved in the regular goings-on of our children’s lives if we intend on protecting . . .
